A great giant at an unbelieveable price.
This guy is huge, well painted, and at an unbeatable price for the size. I've had to use a lot of different inaccurate miniatures to sub in for foes like giants, large trolls, etc, because I lack the funds to pay over $10 per + shipping. These were such a good price I bought 4, among a few other great-priced Large+ miniatures, and now I have terrifying giants for our campaigns rather than using my Large Minotaur and some medium-sized pieces I've bought over the years to fill in. But know that these guys are HUGE compared to a 28mm scale hero.

Absolutely huge, bigger than some giants. Not alot of detail and the paint job is meh, but its imposing and could make a great canvas for a storm giant or demigod

Expect to do a little repair!
While this Empyrean is nice to look at, the arms were not well positioned to the body and so I had to fill in the space with ash grey paint. Now it looks cool!

Exceptional quality for bargain prices!
This thing is huge, similar in size to Nolzur's Unpainted Miniature's giants. Its paint job is amazing, its sculpt is in an impressive action pose, and the creature serves excellently in a variety of roles. I love this miniature and it is exceptionally good for the price. I cannot recommend it enough.

Big Big Beefy Boy
This is one big, big, beefy boy who will look great in any collection. His size really puts meaning to the ironic idea of huge miniatures. Even with his legs bent, he is nearly as tall as the Storm King's Thunder King Hekaton mini. Though he is taller and more muscular than cloud giants tend to be, his size makes him a great substitute for a cloud or storm giant if you are need an extra of either. As with many Icons of the Realms sculpts, he is made to look like the 5e Monster Manual picture of an empyrean (credit to the extremely talented Cory Trego-Erdner), though his features have been refined to include a more shaped face and hair as well as slightly darker and more contrasting colors. He is also given a nice action pose that perfectly reflects the MM description of "universally beautiful, statuesque, and self-assured." All of these refinements work very well in my opinion. He is also super sturdy, though my particular mini experiences 2 small issues that I don't see as concerning enough to knock off any stars. Firstly, the red clothed, flat-hammered variant that I own shows an issue typical of the soft plastic material as his hammer is slightly bent. Secondly is an issue I hope is not common to all instances of this product; my copy's left foot is loose on the base's peg. Again, I see this as no problem of significance as it can be remedied with a minuscule amount of glue. There is also very nice detail work on the fabric and leather. Both have interesting and well-done textures. The paint job is great even down to his teeth. It is clear that Wizkids have greatly improved their production quality since they began producing D&D minis. My only small issue with the paint job on my copy is that one of the gold studs behind his left should is slightly off center. Overall, this is a wonderful mini that I make sure to keep on display. This big boy would improve the quality of any collection, and the sculpt is nice enough that even the pickiest of collectors can be happy with it just by touching up the details a tiny bit.
