Curved spears, but good otherwise.
Great mini but what happens often with sticks and spears is they are significantly curved.

Who doesn't like a miniature that looks like soldiers straight out of a myth? Their weapons were a little bendy, but that doesn't really take anything away from them. The model looks great and will be perfect for what I needed them for!

Cool concept, majorly bent
He's leaning almost to the point of not being upright, his spear is only straight along his arm. It drops straight down after his elbow and past his hand is a swooping near right angle instead of straight ahead.

Who needs Spartans?
This is a quality sculpt with a decent paint jobs. Wish the pose was shield front and spear ready so you could actually form a phalanx but a small gripe. Most of mine had bent spears but a heatgun or blowdryer did the trick.

One of too few choices for Hoplites
This guy is awesome and I ordered a troop of them. Occasionally, one of them has a bendy spear but nothing deal breaking. The price would be nice for a pc mini, but as I'm using them for military NPC's I wasn't exactly blown away by the price. If you are looking for such a figure, of which there are not many, and don't want to pay twice the price and have to paint it, then this is the one for you.
