This small sculpt is a pleasing horror.
Sculpt is a pleasing horror. An intentionally simple color pallet, but it works for the figure; the one I purchased actually had a bit better paint job then the presentation photo above. A small sized miniature model with a big presence on the table and a shocking amount of detail. For a fairly common miniature I think the price might be a bit high, even from a discontinued set, but not so much as to keep most from getting what they want from a great sculpt.

The good kind of ugly.
This figure looks good for what it is. It is an ugly little bugger with a surprisingly good, if slight;y flat, paint job. Manes are kinda a niche monster, as most of the time you'll be fighting Demons your character will be a high enough level that these guys will be trivial. but if you need them then you probably need lots of them, and with a low price like this you can get lots of them. they're also passable as zombies if necessary.

Common, Ugly, And Cheap... As It Should Be
The manes are the least of demons, and as such are cannon fodder in every more powerful demon's army. If you're running a game with demons, you'll want these. How appropriate then, that the most common of demons, and least valued, is a common and cheap mini. A quick repaint, maybe a brownish wash, would do wonders for this mini given its craggy skin, but with manes, it's almost not worth the trouble.

Very cool
I got 2 of these in the booster packs, I really like this little guy, he looks like an unlikely foe, but is still a demon. Would work great for tyranny of dragons style campaign, but especially rage of demons, the newest module, fair sculpt, and fair paint job worth the price
