The item was in excellent condition. The team at Miniature Market kept me posted on the status of my order the whole time. Best place to get quality

As I said in my previous reviews, these are roughly a little smaller than the young dragon unpainted minis (comparing the dragon body only). They work great for a stand in when you're not trying to relay the size difference between a player and a NPC adult dragon. Perfect for use in Rise of Tiamat where the object isn't to fight them, but to convince them to support your cause. If you really want to make these look their best, add in some Army Painter rock/sand/grasses to the base. These guys can look great with minimal effort.

Hail to the king, baby

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

A royalty of dragonkind, about to show to lesser beings what it means to be the king! The pose is very aggressive, but still regal, as the dragon is upright and vertically rather straight. The expression is full of fury and superiority, and the arms and legs are in a dynamic and agile pose; the king of dragons does not just sit on clouds but can enforce his righteous will with brutal efficiency. Best of all are the wings. Probably the greatest dragon wings I've seen on a mini, they have to be seen to be believed. That they don't mask the body from any angle is just an added bonus. They are so dynamic, conveying both incredible speed AND power. Spreading them open and just about to press them down forcefully (or to use them as a weapon! How often do you see a possibility of THAT interpretation on a dragon mini??), you get the feeling that he isn't going to prolong the battle. He's going to make it lightning fast and decisive, and crush his opponents in an instant. The gloriousness of the pose is reflected in the details of the sculpt - all round excellent. The paint job is simple but careful and crisp. Wonderful silver highlights on the belly, black claws, red mouth, white teeth, black eyes with white centres. The gold colour chosen is bright and yellowish, a very good choice, and instantly recognizable amongst other metallic dragons. But my favourite detail is probably the fact that you can easily place a rider on his back, supported by the wings! Oh, and the price is so low when compared to other dragons that it's practically a robbery. If you even consider purchasing a flying gold dragon, don't hesitate to add this to your collection.

Great model poor basing

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

The paint jobs good, I like the pose but the biggest let down is that it's supposed to be the adult dragon clearly but they only made large bases at the time
