Volo & Mordenkainen's Foes #07 Iron Cobra (C)

A more annoying trend in mini design is scaling, particularly big minis that are too big relative to the scale for which they are meant. This mini has the opposite problem: it's way too small. I mean, it has a Medium-sized base, but the figure seems small enough to be, well, Small, or even Tiny! That said, the paint job is fine and true to the image in MoM; if you need an iron cobra, this will do fine. But for a Medium-sized creature, I was expecting something bigger.

These minis are a bit on the small side, coming in at around the size of a standard D6. The paint is not fantastic on this mini but other than that it is great. A little paint job will do just the trick.

The chest that the snake is wrapped around is a nice bonus and as a whole the mini feels sturdy !

The paint job is great, but this mini could fit on a small sized tile instead of medium (however it would completely fill the small tile)

I often have issues remembering side characters or companion animals and in the case of some snakes the miniatures are too small. But if one of your players has a pet snake who talks to them with the voice of a demon from beyond this is a good aid to memory

Great if need a snake mini. Painted well and great detail.

Yeah, the party stayed 120' back and killed this off with AOE and range weapons.
