Ticket to Ride: San Francisco

All the things that make Ticket To Ride fun are here but in a compact map that can be played in a much shorter session. We love Ticket To Ride and often play Rails And Sails, but sometimes we don't have the time to commit to the full game and this is a great way to scratch that itch. In addition - this game is a great way to introduce someone to the mechanics before hitting them with a longer and more complicated version. We've found it a great way to teach Ticket To Ride and then bring out the larger games once everyone is comfortable.

This is a fun 2-4 player game. It is Ticket to Ride that can be played on a smaller table and in less time than its larger parents. I bought it to play with my wife, who is challenged for free time. Easily one of her favorites.

One of the series of Ticket To Ride games. Fun game. High production values - the little cable cars are SO CUTE! I bought this game because I really love San Francisco, and it was fun to play a game with the names of places and neighborhoods that I am familiar with. Brings back fond memories of one of America's unique and beautiful cities.

We always play TTR with 3 or 2 in my house, so these micro boards provided a great experience for us. I like the set collection mechanic a little better than the neighborhood occupation mechanic in London. New York is so fast and mean that it almost doesn't bear comparing to San Fransisco.

These short east Ticket to Ride boards are fun for a quick play though!

San Francisco is like a small version or TtR Germany or TtR Marklin. I'm a big fan of Ticket to Ride, and this one is another good entry. If you're looking for a small Ticket to Ride, I would choose this above Amsterdam, and about the same as New York and London.

Very good game if looking for a quick 15 minute game. Very good for younger players whose concentration might not last for a full TTR game. I liked the bonus for collecting tokens at different sites.
