Multiversal Mercurial Magic Effects

Each wizard or elf learns their magic differently, gaining knowledge of the mystical through various sources. Sorcerty is an imperfect science, however, and it's rare for two casters to manifest the same spell in identical fashion. Often, there are unusual side-effects caused by bending the phlogistonic energies of the multiverse to your bidding. These are mercurial magic effects.

If the Judge and players desire, they can add multiversal mercurial magic effects to their game. When rolling on Table 5-2: Mercurial Magic, any result of 99 or 00 is resolved by rolling on the Multiversal Mercurial Magic Effects included.
