Just think backwards
Faraway is such a simple idea that it's amazing it's never been done prior to this game. Play your cards, but score them in reverse order only counting what you've played after the fact. It's brilliant and scales well across player counts.

I really like the way you score backwards, it really forces you to think about the order you play cards in.

Great small box game
Such a fun game with a unique scoring mechanism. Plays quick do easy to play multiple times in a row, but still offers a lot of decision making and a puzzly feel
