Cosmic encounter is (tied for) my favorite game ever. Incursion adds more of all the best things: the Rewards deck! More Aliens! A sixth player!! What’s not to love?

Must Have Expansion
6 player expansion is a must. More aliens! And the addition of the defender rewards deck are all must haves for more Cosmic Encounter fun

Near Must Inclusion
- Adds the cosmic defender deck to give defenders even more of a reason to aid the defense! - Adds the best color in the game: Orange (and the 6th player!) - well priced for what is included.

Improves base game mechanicss
The collection of aliens introduced in Cosmic Incursion are some of the best - no flops here, all can be consistently enjoyed in the collection. The extra set of pieces is also very helpful - Cosmic Encounter is a game that easily scales to higher player counts. The defender deck is an easy addition to the game that makes defending alliances more rewarding, which makes that strategy more viable. The mechanic is also a very intuitive addition that adds little complexity to the game.
