In Cosmic Conflict, an expansion for Cosmic Encounter, 20 new alien races explode onto the galaxy!
Players will now shudder at the insidious kindness of the Empath, blink in confusion at the antics of the Lunatic, and howl in outrage as their planets are stolen away by the Claw! Cosmic Conflict also makes the Cosmos even bigger, adding another player (and attractive black components) to the game. Cosmic Quakes will shake things up, ensuring that no player's hand is truly safe. And as if that wasn't enough, Cosmic Conflict introduces a new variant to the game - the hazard deck, which confronts the players with dangerous and amusing events that crop up at any time. Beware! The age of uncertainty is upon us!

Almost Perfect Expansion To A Great Game
Cosmic Conflict adds the black player to the game which is my favorite color out of the 3 new colors added through expansions. It also adds new aliens which is always great. Another addition this expansion provides is the Hazard Deck. The hazards are almost great with the exception of the card which reverses player order. I have played 3 games with the Hazard Deck and I think from now on if I play with that deck I am going to exclude those cards from play. Out of the 5 total expansions this game has, I'd rank this one right in the middle behind Incursion and Dominion, but ahead of Storm and Alliance.
