War has come to the realm of Men. Shadows spread throughout Rohan and Gondor, from the tangled depths of Fangorn Forest to the haunted ruins of Osgiliath. You have encountered ruthless mercenaries that have invaded the kingdoms of Men under orders from a mysterious figure, and now you must strike out to hopefully quell the tide of violence before it becomes too great.
Taking place in the proud kingdoms of Gondor and Rohan, this expansion unlocks an all-new campaign with fifteen scenarios that see you traveling between the kingdoms and defending them from enemy forces. Spreading War also comes with six new heroes, over 20 enemy miniatures, 18 double-sided journey map tiles, new roles, new terrain types, and much, much more!

Another Outstanding Expansion
I love the new hero options and campaign in the app. Freahild is my personal favorite hero in the game, although I really wish they would've given us a sculpt of her on her horse!

Another solid expansion to an impressive title
What can I say? It's another expansion to a game I love, Journeys in Middle-Earth. Solid characters to expand upon. Haven't played all the missions yet, but what I have seen is on par with the rest of the line.

Solid Expansion
Been waiting to get this expansion. Was worried because some early purchasers received the expansion with broken miniatures. Was not the case with this order. Order arrived on great condition and quickly.

Love it!
Love this expansion. I still continue to love playing this game. Also, I get to paint all the awesome minis.

Great Game, Broken Minis
As the last planned big box expansion (at time of writing) for JiME, Spreading War is a lot of fun. My one complaint is that all three warg riders and my oliphant were broken when I received my game. However I contacted MM and they sent replacements out extremely quickly and all were in perfect condition. If you love JiME absolutely pick this up, just beware those broken minis.

JIME spreading war is awesome
The base game is a fantastic game for all to play and the expansion is no different. Very challenging, balanced and fun. Once you start playing, it becomes hard to end the session. Highly recommended.

Great addition, but needs better packing.
The miniatures are awesome but mine came with three of them broken. I know how to fix miniatures, but I shouldn't have to and I feel bad for some kid who gets this was no idea how to fix it and has to live with broken figures.

Broken Pieces
Do not buy without some good modeling superglue. Some of the pieces are extremely hard to repair.
