Marvel Champions LCG: Black Widow Hero Pack

I recommend this hero, but I’m not sure how much I like her personally. The play style is focused on “preparation”, so putting out cards in advance, waiting for the right time to trigger. So often during the player turn, you’re just trying to put out as many cards as possible, which isn’t a fun puzzle. Then on the villain turn, you’re deciding which prep cards to trigger, which I found a little annoying because I’d have to go through all the cards I put out to see if i should trigger them, but they’re context specific, so not always applicable. That basically replaced the fun puzzle aspect of what to do during the player phase. But again, super unique and if that sounds fun, definitely recommend her.

Black Widow is a very versatile character and reacts to the game. Better for 4 heroes or solo than for a 2 hero game.

Fun to play. Laying traps for the villain feels great. Powerful justice cards here as well

Black Widow is SUPER fun. She is a bit more technical but, once you get her setup, she feels like she has a response for everything thrown at her! The feel of the deck really meets the flavor of her being a spy.

The Black Widow pack's new Preparation mechanic makes for some fun and interesting new combinations. Marvel Champions continues to innovate rather than rest on its laurels.

Older set, but has some killer combos

Another great expansion for another great game.

Black Widow has interesting trap cards (called Preparations). Not to mention, she brings our friend Bucky to the front. Would recommend!

Black Widow is strong enough to play solitaire but excels with a partner, perhaps overshadows them. I highly recommend her.
