Marvel Champions LCG: The Hood Scenario Pack

This is the SP that I would recommend for a first-time go-around with Scenario Packs. I feel like this is the best primer out of the ones that I've played, and a few new player friends agreed.

The Hood adds 9 Modular Encounters that you can add to any content you currently own that can completely change the game. The Hood himself uses these Modulars in very refreshing ways. You can set up modulars for any playing level you're at (casual to seasoned gamer) and they are very diverse that fit his theme in recruiting various villains to his criminal empire. There is always a wrench The Hood can throw at you so you have to be wary of every single move you make. I love the fact that when you feel you got it, you can be hit with something completely out of the left field that will force you to change your tactics, and it's not in an unfair way. This is just speaking of the villain himself. Adding any of these Modulars to your normal scenarios can be thematic, diverse, or just more of a challenge which is amazing at doing so because it can prolong the core box or expansion(s) without the need of spending more on a new expansion. I would HIGHLY recommend The Hood for any level of gamer if you enjoy Marvel Champions LCG as it will add and open up the game a lot.

This expansion adds a lot of new modular sets which can add variety to the game as a whole. The villain in this pack is very fun and creates a highly variable experience. I enjoyed being able to give him a starting modular set that was thematic to the hero and use the others from this set. Overall difficulty wasn’t hard though the modular sets you choose could really change that. This also gives you the new Standard II/Expert II sets which are designed to add challenge.

With the number of modular sets and expanded modes of play contained within this expansion, this may be the most must-buy of all expansions. You get so many new options for variety in your playthroughs in this one package.

Marvel Champions is a great game, and this enemy pack is one of the coolest ones. I love the variety and surprise the encounter system can bring.

It shipped fast and The Hood is an excellent addition to Marvel Champions!

The Hood comes with a very challenging but fantastic addition to any MC fan. If you are looking for a harder pack this is the one to get. Comes with Standard 2 and Expert 2 Encounter sets to increase the difficulty of any encounter you may have found stale.

This pack is almost essential for the additional modules you can add to any fight.

The Hood scenario pack is amazing. While there is only one scenario included, this pack contains nine modular encounter decks. The scenario itself uses any seven (from any packs or the base set) modulars, which makes it very replayable. Additionally, the new Standard and Expert decks add some much-needed difficulty bumps for any or all of your Marvel Champions games. The Standard deck is just a bit harder than the Standard deck from the base set, so it isn't a huge jump. I'm still playing around with the new Expert deck. I have to say that this was, by far, my favorite non-hero expansion for the game!
