Sagrada - A Photostory

As a skilled artisan, you will use tools-of-the-trade and careful planning to construct a stained glass window masterpiece in the Sagrada Familia.

Players will take turns drafting glass pieces, represented by dice; carefully choosing where to place each one in their window. Windows have unique color and shade requirements, and similar dice may never be adjacent so placing each die is more challenging than the last. Fortunately, you'll have just the right tools to help you through. Gain prestige by adapting to the preferences of your fickle admirers, and of course, by adding your own artistic flair while completing your glass masterpiece in Sagrada.

Easy to get into, hard to master

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

If you like strategic games this is the game for you! It's easy to get into, the mechanics are simple but you really need to think a couple of turns ahead to really master this game.

Great Fun

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

I got this game because I’m a long time Azul lover, and I’m a fan of that sort of puzzle type strategy game. Sagrada has a similar feel to Azul, but involves rolling dice, which adds a fun element to an easy enough to learn strategy game. Overall a fun game, and I love that it works great with 2 players!

Great Beginner Game.

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

I’m a fan of dice over cards and games that respect my time. Sagrada does all of that and looks good while doing it. There’s a bit of luck mixed with a bit of strategy as well and is easy to teach. I would recommend this game to anybody.

I think Sagrada has a place in most gamers' shelves. It's the very definition of easy to learn, difficult to master and requires a good bit of thinking as well as a healthy dose of luck. Lovely table presence, particularly the dice. My wife and I will be tabling this regularly for sure.

Great game that fills a middle ground between filler and strategy

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

This game fits a nice middle ground between filler and heavy strategy. It plays in 30-45 minutes, which is great for fitting in a game after dinner on weeknights. There is enough thinking as you try to place dice that it's not just luck and randomness, even though there is a solid luck component. This game has a great tactile experience of rolling dice and placing them on your player board. There are plenty of cards and other aspects that make the game different each time. I think this will get a lot of plays at my house. The two drawbacks I would say are that the dice are quite small, which I was a little disappointed in, and the green and blue dice are very close in color so if you are not playing in a well-lit room they are hard to distinguish.

I hope you liked stain glass windows!

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

The game is a lot of fun, especially with all of the colorful six-sided dice! My friend had the game and offered to teach me how. After a time or two playing I decided that I wanted it for myself!

Beautiful and Challenging

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

The game is beautiful. Love the colors and concept. There is a lot of strategy involved and replayability seems high as you use various cards each game and it will be different variations each time. Simple enough to learn but harder to master.

Beautiful and Fun!

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

We really enjoyed our first run-through of Sagrada. It is a beautiful game, the materials are high quality and it is a choose-your-own-difficulty/risk kind of game. I would suggest watching an intro video for the quick explanation of how to play. A nice, relatively quick, strategy game that you can play for beauty or to compete. My husband went the try to get every objective route, while I focused on the colorful objectives because I am a sucker for pretty dice. It's nice that every player board (which you get to choose from 4) has a range of difficultly. Sometimes we enjoy the tough challenges and other times it's just fun to play a pickup game to see who can make the prettiest board. Would definitely recommend to anyone who loves dice, strategy games, and beautiful games.

Fantastic family game

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Sagrada is a great family game or intro game to new gamers. East to pick up, but difficult to master, it can be taught in 5 minutes, but leaves depth and complexity in its infinite combinations.

Super fun and quick, great filler game. Beautiful too, and who doesn’t love playing with a bunch of candy-looking dice? Similar gameplay feel to Azul.
