Vaesen RPG Card Deck
I want to preface this by saying that I have not yet run a Vaesen RPG module yet, so my playing experience with these cards is not available. However, I was a little disappointed with the size of the deck. Most of the cards are gorgeously illustrated creature cards which I suppose are there for the players to have a reference of what creature is what. But as each scenario only deals with a couple of them at a time (from my understanding), I'm not sure why the players need the cards if they can write notes about them, aside from a visual representation. What's interesting is that the cards include vaesen that are not in the core rulebook. Maybe there will be an expansion in the future? Also included in the deck are initiative cards, which I can see myself using for sure. But what I was really hoping for was maybe some random injury cards for physical or mental wounds, and maybe some other random happenstance cards to choose from. While I was a tad unimpressed with this product (though I'm more than willing to give the benefit of the doubt to it, as I haven't run a scenario yet) I'm still very excited to run Vaesen for the first time, and will be using the card deck as best I see fit.
