Godzilla: Tokyo Clash

In Godzilla: Tokyo Clash, you play as the Earth's most fearsome Kaiju - Godzilla, Mothra, King Ghidorah, and Megalon - battling for dominance as the most terrifying monster in Japan. With detailed miniatures of the legendary monsters and a modular cityscape of 3D buildings to destroy, it's an epic battle every time you play!

Each player has their own deck of cards unique to the kaiju they control. As you throw trains and tanks at the opponents and attack them directly to cause damage, you can burn cards out of their deck, reducing their options on future turns. As you stomp through the city, you can earn energy, which can help you lay out permanent enhancements to your abilities.

Best Godzilla game on market

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

So lets get this out in the open...I own EVERY Godzilla movie to date released and have played a lot of Godzilla games. This one by far captures the fun and just back and forth of a Kaiju rumble like no other game. Gameplay This game is more of a card and energy managment games then a pure rumble. Inside you get 4 Kaiju with their own decks. From the balanced Godzilla to the the Nina in your face Megalon, the Destroyer of King Ghidora to the Protector of the earth Mothra. Each Kaiju player very differently and has their own unique play style that still feels over all balanced against each other. Components. For the price was expecting cheap but contrary the board hexes are thick and can stand up. The Kaiju while a decent paint job are detailed enough that painters a can really make the models look great. The 3D building remind me of MonPok building. The cards are also much better quality then many other games out on the market. Value For the price the replay value is huge and every game moves fast enough you can easily get two or three games in about an hour if you know what your doing. Dislikes The only thing wanting is expansions with some more kaiju and new building but if this is all we get still get plenty of gameplay out of the box.
