The M4 Sherman (late) (M4A3) improved the Sherman by fixing critical issues like protecting its ammo storage from catching fire and increasing the number and size of the hatches. This resulted in the front armour plate being tilted at a steeper angle and extra armour protection was also added.

Excellent Rendition Of The Late War Sherman
As is typical for BF, these are excellently detailed models of the late war Sherman. The options to build both the 75mm and 76mm turrets allows flexibility that other makers do not offer, for the most part. Be careful with the .50 cals. though. You only get 2, no spares if you break a barrel. But then, most folks will have spares in their bits boxes. And yes, they are a bit pricey compared to some of the other offerings. Having said that, the detail is better and the ability to swap between the 75mm and 76mm turrets is better than buying 2 kits to be able to have the option of swapping between the two.
