Simply fun

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Castle panic is a pretty decent castle defense game. Each player has a hand of cards that represent the defensive forces they have at their disposal. Each type of defender attacks enemies at different ranges, and in a particular arc of the battlefield. The main downside is that it may be a bit too simplistic for some gamers, but if you're looking for something to do with kids or friends that don't play lots of board games this is a great choice.

Simple Game - Lots of Fun

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Castle Panic is a game that covers many bases for me. It's a super simple game that is easy to teach, and I have yet to find anyone who hasn't had fun killing all these goblins, orcs, and trolls. This game plays very well no matter how many people you have at the table. If I want to play a game by myself and I'm not in the mood for a brain burner, I'll pull this off the shelf for a quick runthrough. The only thing that multiple people bring to the table is that you can do limited trading each turn, but playing solo isn't made tougher by the lack of trading. What I like best about this game is that I can get non-gamers to play it and have fun, as well. I introduced this to my brother and his son, and they now own their own copy, along with the expansions. As I said before, this is a super simple game, but there are enough decisions to be made that it doesn't lose much in the way of replayability. I recommend it.

lots of fun for the whole family

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

This cooperative game will yield a ton of fun for the entire family. It can hold its weight from a casual family game night to a more competitive game night with your friends. Expansions are available once you feel your ready, but trust me, this game can be a challenge on its own. Great gateway game to get people in the spirit. Great components and art as well.

Tower Defense Board Game

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

This game works as a Tower Defense game for up to 4 players. Players take turns and work to eliminate the bad guys, goblins, orks and trolls oh my! The bad guys keep coming every turn and players get cards that they can use to destroy them. The game is fairly simple and tends to be for more casual gamers.

Great gateway co-op

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

I bring this game out a lot with people new to gaming. It is easy to teach, simple to understand and because it is a co-op help new players with their turn until they get the gist. It is easy enough to win but challenging enough to make it exciting. Most of my games have ended in victory but close to defeat.
