This expansion is called Talon 1000 because it adds over 1000 scenarios to the game of Talon. We crafted fleet tables that leverage the flexible point values our new ship designs provide. Fleets and Ship Point level can be selected or chosen at random.
With 5 sheets of ship counters, this expansion adds 170 new ship counters. For comparison, the base game came with a total of 54 ships. The new counters include new ship designs, such as variant weapon load outs, in addition to more copies of base game ships. The new ship designs add tons of variations and make scenario Ship Point balancing easier.
Talon 1000 also includes Solitaire rules.

Great first expansion for Talon
This expansion is a must-have if you enjoy the core game. It has tons of ship variants with different load-outs to give the game more variance and flexibility when creating scenarios. My only complaint is that it would have been nice to have a new faction added with unique weapons.

Great expansion to a game that was already good. Talon was a game that brought back the old school game Star Fleet Battles, with modern mechanics and scaled rules to get it to the table. And “wave motion gun†shut up! Just Take my money.
