Dungeon Bowl: The Game of Subterranean Blood Bowl Mayhem

Not as much value as the Blood Bowl Second Season box, but what you get is still worth the price of admission. The rulebook is hardcover and has a total of eight teams (Colleges of Magic) to pick from. Looks like a fun time. I'd recommend it.

I'm really happy with this purchase. I was really happy to hear that Dungeon Bowl was back! This edition came with a great selection of teams. The Ogres were nice as it gives me some more options to build out standard Blood Bowl teams. The components are all solid and well made. I still feel that the minis are overly complicated for Blood Bowl. I love to build models with different options however, these minis have a lot of parts but almost zero choices. I took off one star because I don't understand that thought process, let's make each mini have a dozen tiny, hard to glue together parts for no real reason. It is cool that the game uses the new edition of the rules, that allowed me access to those new rules without having to invest fully in just the new rulebook. I have some issues with those rules as a whole but I don't feel like that is a reflection on Dungeon Bowl.

The rules are more fleshed out. And it's a hardback book just like the Blood Bowl 2020 rulebook. League or campaign play is great. The components are top quality. This game brings back so many great memories from my twenties. I am so totally happy that Dungeon Bowl is back!
