Citadel Sunset

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Citadel's base paints are a little thicker than some competitors, I like this, they can be thinned and worked with. Visually, their paints are beautiful and come in vibrant and unique tones.

Very Useful Color

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

I use this paint for several different gaming projects I have going on, it fits well in both fantasy and historical gaming. Goes on very well, brushes clean up nicely too. Very satisfied with it!

Best base yellow out there

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Perfect yellow for sun/fire effects. Tooany yellows bleeds a green offtone. Also doesn't require a thousand coats for opacity to take.

Excellent product with wide range of uses

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Averland is a great base coat especially for trim work if doing historical periods (Warlord Games Marlborough's for instance) where Tricornes need the colored tape. Use this first, shade or ink as desired, then paint over with a line of P3 Sulphur yellow and it is darn near perfect. The base line are thick and probably higher pigment so covers very well (and that is over black primer which is notoriously tough for yellow or red paints). The color on its own is great for those mustard yellows for a wide range of historical uses and works nicely under ink for sci-fi applications. A really great paint in the Citadel Base series.
