Citadel Base Paint: Leadbelcher (12ml)

A fantastic paint that goes on smoothly and doesn't dry out too fast.

Citadel makes excellent metallics, but in my opinion, Leadbelcher is the best of all their metallics.

If you haven't yet, do yourself a favor and try this great paint. Probably the single best metallic in the business.

Very good coverage and a good metallic color

Pretty good metallic paint definitely one of their better metallics along with liberator gold.

I'm not a fan of GW for many reasons but I can not fault them for their paints. They are excellent. I have used many silver-type paints by several different companies and by far this is the best one I have ever used. I do add a little water to it to thin it out and the results are great! Goes on even, and dries quickly and smoothly. no grainy finish that I have gotten with other bottle paints.

You know pretty much exactly what you're getting with Citadel paints. Granted they tend to dry up sooner than I'd like, and I wish they'd come in squeeze bottles, but with such a wide array of colors I really don't have to worry about ever learning to mix colors! So while I'm painting warhammer minis I'm pretty much strictly using Citadel paints!

Dry brushing on black primer or base coating for for anything shiny and chrome. Leadbelcher is my favorite

This is one of my staple paints. Versatile and applicable for all metals as the first color. I do found it more oily and dark/gunmetal than some others. I am trying some other metallic bases to vary the appearance of metal on my models. Easy to apply and does not need too much thinning.
