Citadel Layer paints are high quality acrylic paints that provide you with a huge range of colours and tones to choose from when you paint your miniatures. They are designed to be used straight over Citadel Base paints (and each other) without any mixing. By using several layers you can create a rich, natural finish on your models that looks fantastic on the battlefield.

All Citadel paints are non-toxic, water-based acrylic that are designed for use on plastic, metal, and resin Citadel miniatures.

Great color for Space Marines or a Lord of Change

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

I'm painting up a Lord of Change and some blue horrors. This paint will go a long way. These paints are great and Miniature Market's prices are great. Don't buy your paint on Amazon, the sellers there charge twice as much. I love Miniature Market!

Better quality equals less expense in this case

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

I found Miniature Market while doing a google search after having been very disappointed with my local game store for selling me paint that was over ten years old and very dried out. New does not always mean new. So I was a little leary about making a purchase at Miniature Market, but I took a chance and am so glad that I did. The citadel paints that I bought here were indeed new (manufacturing date is on the bottle); they were in perfect shape and did not need any water or mixing balls added in order to begin using them. This makes them a lot less expensive to buy them here, because there is less waste and no disappointment. You can use them the day they arrive.
