A versatile color
Dawnstone is a color that is very similar to Vallejo's London Grey. Yes, a mid-grey but also has a slight grey-blue that works fantastically on figures for various periods. Dawnstone works great for that Napoleonic British pants color that is darn hard to replicate and works great on Cruel Seas ships (that is a Warlord Games motor boat game for WWII). London Grey is constantly hard to find. If you can't, try Dawnstone as the next closest thing. It is also really good as a drybrush over dark purple paint if you are trying fantasy or certain sci-fi games (Shadows of Brimstone or Massive Darkness 2 for instance). Highly Recommended.
