Excellent Wash Thinner
Perfect for a 50/50 combo with any wash to dilute the wash just enough to not over power the base color, but be dark enough to highlight the recesses.

Lahmian Medium
I saw a demo online, and decided to give this Technical Paint a try. It's really great at thinning out the paint like a wash. But unlike a wash, the paint doesn't lose it's intensity which is great for adding lighting effects.
