Citadel Technical Paint: Soulstone Blue (12ml)

Great technical. As far as value goes this pot will last me the remainder of my life. All I’ll ever jewel with it are the gems so very little is used. Nice color good effect. Throw a reflection dot on the high point and call it done.

Citadel paints are pricy and the pots aren't always user-friendly, so my standards are high for any new pots I try out. There are several candy or crystal paints on the market that do something similar. I was hoping for more magic-from-the-bottle like their textured terrain paints and contrast line, but there's more of a learning curve for this mix, and the results aren't spectacularly different from the competitors. I could just be doing it wrong and missing something spectacular. Your results may vary.

Nice way to add a little sparkle to gemstones, eyes etc. without having to layer so much.

This paint is very vibrant almost glowing. Highly recommended for your good blue auras.

Citadel Tech paints work like a base and shade at once. Almost like a contrast layer, but easier to use. There is no technique really; you just paint them on like a base but they find the detail and pool like a shade. It can create such an effect on your jewelry and glass that people will want to touch it to see if it is real.

Makes it so pretty!! But you do have to put a few layers on.
