Citadel Technical Paint: Tesseract Glow (18ml)

I tried many, MANY different techniques to get the green glow on my Necrons right. This stuff made it effortless. I wish I had just bought it sooner.

Used to play around with various paint along with green and yellow ink. I am not great but this bottle gets the same result in a single step which is great.

My first application of Tesseract Glow was an absolute disaster. I had accidentally mixed it with a brown wash and did not properly shake the paint pod, leaving a messy, watery, breen mess. When I properly reapplied it after a vigorous shake, it stuck to the plastic and didn't drip downward. I'm quite an amateur painter, and when I asked to show a picture of my work the camera flash made the paint show in a very flattering light. Very impressive paint.

Best green glow wash I have used. As with all GW stuff too pricey.

Need to take your time with this one and get multiple layers to really see the effect

Tesseract Glow has a really great glow if you put it over Stormhost Silver. I like adding a layer of Hexwraith Flame to give a darker contrast. It's also good over Moot Green-really brightens it up but it doesn't have the same look as over the silver.

Look like a cool color to try out and so far so good for me.

This Citadel tech paint added a whole new aspect to our table top game. Hows that for a must have color? Tesseract Glow is neon green and works as a base and shade at the same time. When painted on terrain (floor tiles), tongues, weapons, hair, ect. it is so realistic that we made the model roll a DOT check for poison if his base came into contact with it.

Watch some tutorials and make sure to copy a style that appeals to you. This paint can be very blotchy when applied to a flat surface, but it's a great tool when used right. If you need your Necron weapons to glow, this is your paint (but again: WATCH the reviews and tutorials!!!)

Glowing eyes and gauss weapons have never been so easy.
