Contrast paints are a great tool to add to the painting toolkit but they do take some experimentation and finesse to maximize their potential. I highly recommend anyone who uses the citadel line of contrast paints to pick up a pot of their contrast medium as well. It increases the versatility of each paint exponentially!

If you have snakebite leather, you don't need this.

Great color and consistency with the aggaros dunes paint
Love using contrast paints but not all have great consistency. Aggaros dunes covers and dries very well

Great for painting horses
I had picked up Aggaros Dunes along with the black contrast paint to help make painting horses faster. The coloring on this paint is pretty nice and the example picture is of it used on white primer, no dry brushing or inking. The paint picks out the highs and lows very well. The one issue I ran into is that if you miss a spot it really shows up and it is hard to blend the wet paint into areas that are already dry. So you really have to do it all at once, which isn't too bad as long as the brush is big enough.
