When you need nuln oil to actually shade a layer color grab some black Templar!

Incredible contrast paint, covers well, great black, layer it with corvus black for great effect!

Good Contrast Paint
I have been pleased with this Contrast paint. It is easy to use with a great results. Using a black or gray primer with white drybrushing under this creates pretty easy and pleasing shading effects. If you thin it, it does a great job over steel metallic color to create an easy blackened armor effect.

Black is the new Black
Does exactly what you'd expect: it's a black contrast paint. Shades highs, darkens recesses. Usefull over a grey/dark undercoat.

Perfect
Black can be a hard color to highlight right and this gets you started in the best ways possible

Fantastic, Easy Black
Being more of a dark gray, this has been great to add black shoes, belts, and pads to my Blood Bowl team. It won't look like pure Abaddon Black, but it does a great job at covering the primer and can help skip the wash and highlight steps.

My Most Frequently Used Paint
Anything that is primed with a heavy zenithal highlight is going to love contrast paints. I use this black on most all of my blasters in Star Wars Legion.

Not perfect, but pretty darn good.
If you just want a way to speed paint some minis and get them on the table, this is a good solution. Works really well for black cloaks and such. Be sure to base coat in a light color, like gray, for maximum effect.

It's more opaque than other Contrast paints. And that's a good thing.
It's more opaque than other contrast paints but that's fine considering it's the black contrast paint. Makes a nice solid layer more than a wash.
