Contrast Paints are a godsend
I have been a traditional painter for quite a few years and have started to amass a contrast set due to how frustrating and effective they are at being able to bring out the colors to miniatures with just a simple base coat and drybrush. If you have not tried any of the contrast paints while they are more expensive the time and effort saved are worth it especially if you are in wargames that require batch painting. Frostheart in particular has a beautiful effect on my minis and had terrific success making a nice blue glow effect to practice OSL.

Ice cold
Bought to use on a Frost Dragon, was looking for a thicker coverage contrast and this was a good choice!
