The base requirement for any Cowdor gang

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

This is needed for every Cowdor gang. But there aren't many weapon options. The upgrade kit is needed for a faithful gang.

Overly Mono-pose but amazing look

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

I'm a long time fan of Cawdor and the Redemptionists, purging with fire and the spirit of the Emperor has been my underhive drive since the 90s. I'm late to the review table, but decided to start doing other things for the hobby so here it goes. The instructed load out is average / slightly below average. Cawdor have some very unique options for weapons and the kit spams the polearms but avoids the flamers, glaives, and combi flamers that define the gang. The crossbow has a unique look and is my favorite piece of the kit even if it doesn't perform as well as a standard grenade launcher. They did nail the 'look', these models are fantastic with the cowels and face coverings. They lack outward imperial icons so I see them proxying in for chaos cultists all the time with hurts my soul. My final comment, while a flexible kit, these models are nearly mono-pose, you can swap a few options around but all the extra bits on the sprues provided are nearly useless unless you are doubling down on repeat builds.
