Warhammer 40K: Space Marine Primaris Hellblasters

I love the Dark Angels aesthetic and Hellblasters offer a flavorful infantry unit to compliment my army, and MM had it with competitive pricing and prompt shipping.

Do you need to melt any Xenos or Heretics from oblivion? Look no further than the Primaris Hellblasters. Whatever they shoot. It will die. A 10-man squad averages 7 damage per shooting round, (8-9 if you super-charge your plasma) these boys will earn their points back in the enemy models AND THEN SOME.

Great detail, great quality of plastic

I'm a big fan of the new line of Primaris marines, having been a space marine fan since that first box of metal marines pre RTB-01. The detail, new body proportions and poses available* for the Hellblasters are all very good. The figures when assembled look excellent and with a little bit of knife and glue work, you can even coax a few more poses out of the set than are advertised on the box - all good things. My only complaint on this set comes from something that I've noticed with all the primaris boxes, but which is more pronounced with the Hellblasters - each body is only fully compatible with one pair of legs, and those legs are only able to be positioned in one way. There is some flexibility with the arms, but, even just comparing the hellblasters to the assault intercesors for example, the beautiful backpack power conduit of the Hellblasters hems in your choice of arm position quite a bit. This can be mitigated to some extent with your hobby knife and creativity, but, as it is a big departure from prior space marine sets, it's worth noting - when you buy the hellblasters, you should expect to get Exactly what's on box art. Final note is that the muzzle of each plasma gun is its own 2-part component, and each requires a bit of file or knife work to fit snug against the rest of the gun - this seems like an odd design choice, and in spite of my attention, one of my hellblasters ended up curing with a slightly off-alignment gun. single piece weapons (with gubbins on the side) next time please?
