Must have for any Tyranid Player
With the recent release of 9th edition, The Hive Tyrant and Winged Hive Tyrant (Flyrant) are the absolute staples for a Tyranid Army of any size. From a combat patrol to an incursion a Hive Tyrant will fit any list and is at this point an auto-include for most players. Even with the wealth of HQ choices available in the new Tyranid codex, you should have at least one Hive Tyrant in the army. I would not recommend the Swarmlord from the new codex. It lost a lot of the abilities that made it amazing in 8th edition.
