A must have for any Tyranid Army
The Venomthrope box is a must-have for any Tyranid player. The box comes with the ability to make Venomthropes, Zoanthropes, or even a Neurothrope. The Venomthropes are viable in almost every list with their -1 to hit aura that gives a ton of survivability to everything close by if Tyranids weren't hearty enough as is. The Zoanthropes are the ultimate smite casters in the new 9th edition codex capable of dishing out a large amount of mortal wounds and giving a great synapse imperative ability of invulnerable saves. The Neurothrope is a solid HQ choice in itself and pumps out a very strong psychic phase while even better for the rest of your psykers. The only downside to this box is if you need a Neurothrope, you typically will only need one while this box makes 3 total models. Both Zoanthropes and Venomthropes minimum unit size is 3 so that will leave you one short meaning you will need at least 2 boxes of Venomthropes if not 3 to get each of the units this box makes which isn't a bad thing at all as all 3 units from this box are very good units to have in your army.
