Similo is a cooperative deduction game. Each version comes with a deck of 30 cards, beautifully illustrated by Naïade, showing the portrait and the name of a series of characters with a common theme, like fables.
Your goal is to make the other players guess 1 Secret Character (out of the 12 characters on display in the middle of the table) by playing other character cards from your hand as Clues, claiming if they are similar or different from the Secret Character.
After each turn, the other players must remove 1 or more characters from the table, until only the right one remains, and you win...or it is removed, and you lose!

Game Length: 10-15 minutes
This game can be played on its own or combined with other Similo sets for enhanced play.

Perfect for Families
Similo: Fables is a perfect quick game to play with families. It’s also very compact, and perfect for taking on family trips.

Excellent, simple game. Great for gamers and non gamers.
This is the most streamlined/distilled version of the giving clues about pictures using other pictures mechanism. The Fables deck is my personal favorite because it brings in all the fairytale stories we all know and love which leads to some interesting discussions about what is similar and dissimilar between characters.

Unique and very interesting game
A bit of reminding of Dixit. But in very easy to explain and really easy to play. You don't have to be an experience game player to play this one Art is fabulous! bravo TO THE ARTIST!

Simple but fun

Similo has great artwork and is a fun family co-op.
Similo has great artwork! One person uses the cards to draw a target animal. Then mixes the target up with 11 others to make a 12 card display. The person who knows the target draws 5 cards, and from those 5 selects one to lay face down either horizontally or vertically. Horizontal means the card laid down is NOT like the target, and Vertical means the card IS SIMILAR to the target card. (ie a flamingo IS similar to a lion because they both originate from Africa...or a flamingo is NOT similar to a lion because it's a bird) the more cards played narrow down the options of which card the target could be.
