Simple, tense, and lots of fun
It's a game simple enough for young-ish kids and adults with any level of gaming experience. Being a spy, and lying to your family and friends was a bit more difficult than I expected. I almost couldn't keep a straight face. But it's also a lot more fun than I expected. Watching people become suspicious of the other players when you know they aren't spies is worth the price alone. The game evolves a sort of meta, where at first you probably won't know when it is or isn't a good idea to pass or fail a mission as a spy, or you won't know what kinds of behavior are suspicious as a resistance member. But as you play more you will learn what to look out for. Luckily the game is short enough that you can easily get in several sessions in one sitting. The components are of good quality. I sleeved the cards and they stopped fitting in the built-in organizer, but they still easily fit in the box so no big deal. I highly recommend protecting the components as any signs of wear and tear will become clues and could ruin the game. The game is cheap enough. If you're thinking about getting it, it is worth it. Is it the best hidden-roles/traitor/social deduction game? Maybe not, but you won't find one that is this much fun while still being super easy to get people to agree to play while also being very low in price.

Fun simple deduction party game
Can you really trust your neighbor? The woman you love? Your best friend? Probably not...They're all spies. The game feeds your paranoia, and the more you play the more paranoid you become. The game favors the spies (who by the rules know who each other are) and can be mitigated by keeping the spies secret. With the ability to play with up to 10 it's a lot of fun trying to deduce who you can and cannot trust and ultimately hope you make the right call. Play is broken down by team selection where you choose a team and vote on it with a simple majority, if there are 5 failed votes the game is lost and the spies win. Then anyone on the mission selects a success or a failure. resistance members may only select success, while spies can choose success or fail. This allows spies to gain your trust and keep people guessing. The only problem is the cards can wear out so it's easier to tell who is a spy or resistance member or who voted fail on a mission as the cards are used. It would almost work better with tiles in a bag.

Lying to your loved ones
Resistance is a fun game that rewards the players who lie the best. It is very simple and leads to loads of laughs. The game truly shines when you get to play as one as a spy. It is hilarious to know who is guilty and watch the players wrongfully accuse each other of being a spy. The game plays best with 7+ people. for the price, you can't go wrong.

You Cannot Resist Us
I really enjoyed this game. It was good for gamers, and non-gamers, for friends and people new to the group. It is possible to see the alliances and the 'talkers' to work out who the spies are. However master spies are able to convince the team not to follow through on logic even when they know who the traitors are. Marvelous fun, especially if you are willing to engage.

Fantastic party game
I love Resistance. We used to play it with just a deck of cards, but I was enjoying it so much that I ended up buying the official version. It's easy to figure out, and games only last 10ish minutes. Everyone is always involved, and really feels like they're contributing to the game. If you're a fan of social deduction, betrayal, and secret identity games, get this.
