PARKS: Nightfall Expansion

Very beautiful, as expected. Adds some new player choice dynamics and competition for actions and resources.

The expansion adds some interesting options to the base game. Some new parks with instant actions as well as camping options. It's not too complex, but adds a couple of interesting choices to the base game.

Nightfall is exactly what I was looking to add to Parks. There are a few new mechanisms (which you don't even have to pursue during the course of gameplay!), different personal bonus objectives (year cards), and even more cool parks cards to visit! It's a great expansion, and makes a good game that much better.

Great addition to Parks base game. Great cards and components. Completes the base game.

Nightfall just adds more options and control to your seemingly simple choices in the base game. It adds a small additional board where you can take bonus camping actions, like drawing an additional end game scoring card or converting one resource into 5 and more. Camping actions are powerful and if you land on a trail site that has a tent you forfeit that trail site's benefit to take a camping action instead. Tents are moved from the trail to the camping board and block other players from using that camp site's action in the future. I really like Parks. A lot of people say it's relaxing, but if you play it right, it can be a little cutthroat:) I love the little engine you can create between your canteens and gear cards and Nightfall just lets you build something even bigger with more options for end game scoring, so you really don't know who has won until the end.

This expansion adds just enough new elements to keep the game interesting, without making it too complicated or fiddly.

What is NOT to love about Parks? This expansion just makes the base game a whole lot better. The tents and camping sites just adds that extra layer of satisfaction the game needed. Being able to acquire more calendar cards is an absolute pleasure. And, the new park card with instant actions are amazing! This game is absolutely great! One of the best ones I've ever played!

The Nightfall Expansion just adds a little more depth to PARKS which is already a great game, but can be a little light at times. The tents add another element of strategy and of course the contents are amazing and the game trayz insert is a plus as well.

Really nice expansion for this game and adds a lot of fun stuff to the base game.

Parks the nightfall expansion adds more variability to the parks that you can visit, as well as whole new strategies to visiting the tents and going to whole new areas of the map. You also have new end of year goals which all accumulate points and you can earn more end of year cards by visiting the tents as well. A very fun, easy expansion that adds more to an already fun game and won’t play parks without it!
