Fun and quick deck building game
Bought sakura arms core box 1 and then core box 3 a day later. Didn't play either until recently when I met up with my brother to play and it was super fun. I'm not much of a 1v1 dueling game type of guy and bought this moreso for the art, especially since it reminded me of demon slayer. We both had a lot of fun and after learning with core box 1, immediately jumped into core box 3 and then later mixed and matched. It has a nice pre-built set of decks for beginners or to just jump into a quick game so you don't have to mull over which cards you should build into your deck. After a few games, we picked it up pretty fast and the games went by pretty quick which was nice. If you get this game, note that distance and shadow are both shared between the 2 players. We didn't realize that at first and couldn't figure out how to close the distance since it looks like each player has their own separate distance section on the board. The unofficial faq on bgg was pretty helpful for us but the community isn't as large as somethign like nemesis where you can find the answers like almost immediately on reddit or bgg.
