Another fantastic book of maps from Lake.

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

This Sci-Fi installment of the Lake Book of Maps line has all the great features that make these our go-to rpg map solution. They are so convenient and versatile. We used to use Paizo's flip maps and map packs but these books are so much better. Flip them open and use a dry erase marker to add details. Use one side or flip them open for a larger map. The spiral binding ensures they lay flat, something that we always struggled with using the flip maps. We had to get a sheet of clear acrylic, but then you can't draw on the map on-the-fly like you can with these books. You can even combine books to make really huge and diverse maps. We love these. The only thing preventing this being a full 5-star product is some of the artwork is a bit uninspired when compared to other pre-made maps you can buy. But it's usually serviceable enough and we are often drawing our own details on with markers anyway. This Sci-Fi artis particularly mundane though. I would have liked a little more detail. Still a fantastic product on the whole.
