Charming Game
Charming game of asymmetric factions vying for control over the seas. You'll be handling your hand or pawns to put out on the board depending on which faction you are. Very similar to Root.

Fantastic Root Follow-Up
I love this game! Big fan of Root, and as others have said, this is kinda like Root Lite. High quality components and thematic mechanics. And of course, stellar art!

Fun New Game From Leder
Very fun game! It's a fun pirate version of Root, maintaining the asymmetrical style of play but in a whole new swashbuckling way!

Really fun asymmetric game
It was surprisingly easy to teach and played much more quickly than anything I've tried like it. We immediately wanted to play again with our same factions, but also were eager to try the others. Would recommend.

Excellent Game
It's a great game and very similar to Root. So if you like asymmetry or Root, you will like this game. Some of the factions in this game are very similar to Root factions, like the cats or the vagabond. You'll be moving around the Sea, trying to make matching suits of islands and increasing dice pips to make those islands more valuable. I'd say 3 or 4 players make this game shine.

Fun medium weight assymetric game!
Ahoy is a great asymmetric boardgame with a pirate team, is easy to learn and fast to play, it is a great entry game for people playing asymmetric games for the first time, I consider this to be a medium-weight game with luck involved, you throw dices every turn and choose what to do from there, many people don't like to rely on luck, but for this game, I think it fits fine. Gameplay Is pretty straightforward, everyone throws their dice and chooses actions using the dice on their dice pool. the first one to reach 30 points triggers the game end, and the player with the most points wins.. If you want to play a fun quick game and also want to try different roles, try this one. And, if you are a fan of Kyle Ferrin´s art, get this game just because
