You are Victor Lavel, a young and ambitious journalist. It's the year 1900, the middle of the Belle Époque, and Paris is flourishing. There are many exciting stories to cover, but you are far more interested in murder, kidnappings, and robberies! Having a police commissioner for an uncle helps you to be among the first to know about sinister crimes, but will your wits make you the first to find the perpetrator?

Using Scan & Play technology to mix digital and board games, it allows for many crime investigation stories to be told with the same components. Interrogate the suspects, collect evidence, and find the culprit before you run out of time!

A Crime To Remember.

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Chronicles of Crime: 1900 is barely a board game. However it is a VERY clever app driven mystery game. The player(s) will interview suspects, examine crime scenes, confer with colleagues, and solve the crime, all through the app. The cards in the game represent suspects, places, objects and people around early 20th century Paris. The game comes with five cases to solve, which vary from an easy to hard in complexity. This includes a tutorial to get your footing. The game is for 1-4 players. All in all, very good mystery game, a miniaturized version of the Chronicals of Crime game. If you have never played COC, this is a good introduction to those games. If you have played the original Chronicles of Crime, this is a real change of pace from the original. Fair warning: once the cases are solved and the solution revealed, that is that. There is no replayability to the game.

Great mystery game!

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

I purposely play this game as a solo option. I am easily the most zealous in my family when it comes to mystery games, and this is a great solo option. It can also be played in a group, but I have not done so. I like the layout, the “scene investigation” process and the use of the QR codes for interviews.

Great addition to the the Chronicles Series

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

This game is a must get addition for Chronicles of Crime fans. Artwork is probably the best in the series and the addition of puzzles to help you solve the crimes really adds in interesting dimension. I miss the dog from 1400 though.
