Dive

This is a simple game, easily understood. There is a push-your-luck component to it that has some significant risks in the latter half of the game, which helps slow down the leader. It is quite difficult to see down to the fifth card, and it's often an educated guess. You're allowed (and encouraged) to use flashlights, which help, but it gets in the way of everyone and slows down the game. The cards are supposed to go on top of the frame and not underneath it as I first assumed. It makes so much more sense and works much better that way. Otherwise, the rules were easy to understand. My 12-year-old became very frustrated with the game and not being able to see well. My younger boys were much more causal about it, and they loved being right, but they didn't want to play again. It was an interesting concept that I wanted to see and try out, but knowing now, I'd not have purchased it.

Loved the fresh idea of having to look through the 'water'. Really drips of theme.

Very fun and creative game

Fun multiplayer game about bidding and depth perception! I find myself thinking about this a game a lot lately. Does this mean... I'm in love?

Got this for the cool theme, nice components and short play time. Great game that's quick to learn and quick to play. Fantastic for family game nights or just to squeeze in between heavier games. The transparent cards look nice, and the end usually does a good job of increasing tension without making the game feel too luck dependant. There are single-use animal friends you can add if you want more depth, and an AI diver for added challenge! Definitely recommend if you want a quick, light game.
