Marvel Zombies is a cooperative game where 1 to 6 players control zombified Super Heroes facing off against SHIELD Agents and living Super Heroes controlled by the game itself. The goal is to complete Mission Objectives, defeat your Enemies, and, most importantly, satiate your ravenous Hunger!
Eliminating Enemies and devouring Bystanders makes you powerful. But the bigger a danger you pose, the more forces are sent to hunt you. The ever-growing Hunger makes you stronger, but if you don't feed, it will consume your mind and body. Only by working together can the Zombie Heroes find the key to their salvation!

Not your Zombicide
As a newcomer to Zombicide, I'm going to say this is NOT my favorite one. The idea of playing as your Zombie Superhero enticed me. YES!! I get to play as Hulk Zombie. However, it just doesn't feel like zombicide. Opening doors to find troopers/humans? meh. Having to accomplish similar Zombicide goals to complete the 'mission'? Meh. I prefer the Heroes Resistance version (which is compatible with the components of this one). And knowing this, I wish I had waited for 'X-Men Resistance'. I only bought it when MM finally dropped the price cause it is NOT worth the $104. Buy it used if you can.

Great title, right on target
Great game and Zombie Heroes is a fun change from other Zombicide games. The miniatures in the game are nice and detailed. Looking forward to future game nights with this game.

Zombicide on the other side.
This game is great for establishing a play thru for marvel zombies on the zombie side. Dispite the instructions stating read thru for the new rules... not much has changed which is great. Instead of gathering weapons like survivors. You are gaining zombie traits and eating people. As a bonus they added zombie abominations and the ability to play as heros against zombies in the x men add on. Everything you need to play and then some. Good buy.
