You are a Troubleshooter! Congratulations! As a Troubleshooter, you are a member of Alpha Complex's most expendable elite force. Tasked with finding trouble and shooting it, you will be hunting mutants, terrorists, traitors, [CLASSIFIED], secret societies, renegade bots, and DAIVs, which are [REDACTED]. You'll save Alpha Complex from its greatest threat, unless you accidentally become Alpha Complex's greatest threat.
All-new mechanics include a simple yet brilliant character-generation system, a bluffing-based card-driven combat system, a special Computer Dice with means even the simplest interaction can become hilariously fatal, in-game XP Point rewards, and more advice to GMs than you can shake a stick at.

Paranoia - Kinda OK
I much prefer the older 1st and 2nd editions, which are overall so much more well written than this. It's not bad, but it's not as entertaining. The character creation system is very unique and interesting, though.

Terrific Update on a Theme
In retrospect, it is perhaps a shame the U.S. won the Cold War, both because we apparently didn't have a plan for victory and because collapse of the Soviet Union undermined one of the most thematically excellent RPGs ever. The good folks at Mongoose did a fantastic job bringing the system and the setting into the contemporary world. Order it now to prove your loyalty.
