Not quite a competitor for Smartphone, Inc
There's no 4.5*, but that's where this would otherwise sit, but it doesn't deserve to go down to 4* Absent the big brother of Smartphone, Inc., this is a fantastic game. If you're looking for a lighter Smartphone, Inc., however, you may be very slightly disappointed in Mobile Markets -- not because it isn't good, but because it is lighter on paper than it is in practice. There may be just slightly too much math at times, and the game may go on slightly too long.

Smartphone Inc. but without the map.
If you like Smartphone Inc, you'll like this game. It really shines at lower player counts too. I love the constant tension of how to price your phones each round. More expensive means you make more money per phone. But cheaper means you will get to sell before other players. The addition of advertising to this game is really fun and the expanded technologies are great too. It's fun to be able to build different types of phones from round to round. And, with the customers changing each round, you'll need to adapt.
