We are the children of Unification, standing together and sailing through the stars, colonizing planets and bringing their wealth of knowledge to the less sophisticated. Sharing our knowledge where possible and destroying those who would oppose it.
Centuries of exploration and a constant thirst for knowledge have made the Tohaa the greatest civilization in the galaxy, sailing across the galaxy in vast Errant Fleets searching for life and knowledge, using their astounding understanding of biotechnology to touch and influence native species with enough potential to help them in their endeavor to share in the secrets of the universe.
Terraforming and life hacking are some of the gifts the Tohaa bring those deserving them. Highly adaptive and extremely intelligent, they coldly study and evaluate each race they encounter, gauging their potential for Exaltation, the process in which they will become an auxiliary species for Tohaa's plans.
Originally a peaceful odyssey, the Tohaa's hubris prevented them from taking heed of the warning signs they came across throughout the galaxy until it was too late. And now, will allies lost and the EI preparing to execute their final strike, will the Tohaa fall to their enemies, rise and challenge them with newfound allies, or stray from the path of Exaltation and into the dark path of soulless manipulation in order to defeat all of the Triumvirate's foes?

The Second Wave of Infinity books
The Tohaa are the friendly aliens helping the Humans against the Combined Army. The book is 122 pages (longer than the usual faction book) and broken down into 9 chapters: -Tohaa - basically the history of the race/civilization -Paradiso Wormhole Fleet - the forces near the warzone -Tohaa home worlds - describes the major planets -Tohaa sub-factions - provides more depth to the civilization so they're not one dimensional -Tohaa gear - 14 pages of new gear -Tohaa biotech - new living equipment and body mods -Tohaa characters -how to build Tohaa characters/PCs -Tohaa campaigns - some ideas on Tohaa centered campaigns -Tohaa adversaries - Tohaa related species/characters to use as friends/foes As with the Combined Army book, this really fleshes out the other major civilization in the game. Do you need the book to run Infinity - no, you can run a Human centered game and never include the Tohaa. Does the book give you more interesting options and adds another major faction to the game - yes. Recommended.
