This is a great purchase due an aspiring Dune game master. It's beautiful, thorough, and looks like it will be a great introductory adventure.

Great introduction to Dune RPG
The Agents of Dune boxed set is a nice introduction to the Dune RPG. The box covers a fun what if scenario where the PC's House takes over Dune in place of House Atreides. The plot, challenges, and NPCs are well described and there's enough material here to carry a campaign for many sessions. The support materials are high quality and include character portfolios, maps, and other tools to enhance the experience. Highly recommended, particularly if a GM wants to introduce a new group of players to the Dune RPG.

An immersive starter with a lot of tools included
This is a well-thought-out and nicely printed mixed media box, filled with cards, handouts, maps, game trackers and clever mechanics boards, Dune-themed dice, and a 110-plus page campaign book written for brand new players. The campaign combines a bit of a choose-your-own-adventure presentation in order to walk new players, including new GMs, through the rules as needed. And the box is going to be most useful for in-person groups since a lot of the mechanics boards and add-ons are designed with table presentation in mind. It's a great set for those new to the 2d20 system, or who are curious about the Dune world coming from the first novel or the feature film -- and while more expensive than most starter sets, it is really designed for long-term play in mind, and is much more than a basic box with adventure, dice, and pre-gens. This is the beginning of a great Dune experience -- and it's a brilliant RPG.

Solid product but extremely narrow. Fine if you are running the campaign as presented but not much new information if you are not.
