The United States of America is no more. It was destroyed when the world's nuclear warheads were launched. The ensuing apocalypse brought an end to both the Great War and the civilized world. In its place exists the Wasteland, an irradiated landscape pockmarked by ruined cities, decaying civilizations, and pockets of desperate survivors. It is inhabited by a variety of mutated creatures, horrific beasts, and undying ghouls. The radiation from the detonations spread quickly. Everything that wasn't killed immediately was irradiated, and most of the country's diverse plant and animal life was wiped out.
Survivors work to reclaim what little they can and salvage what they cannot rebuild. Civilizations is starting to take root again and certain areas of the country have reached a level of stability that might even be called comfortable, at least for the rich and powerful.
Disparate factions have begun to split off as these communities have grown. Each faction looks to make its own way, and some are far more dangerous than others. by far, the most dangerous are the Raiders. They place no value on any human life but their own. Yet civilization has begun to flourish, despite the opposition. Trade, economy, and even government have begun in some areas of the wasteland. Each community adapts or adjusts its own governmental system according to its needs. Merchants travel protected routes, trading at cities across the wasteland.

Great RPG for those that are fans of the game series
I have always enjoyed playing the fallout series of games. While reading through this I felt they translated the game mechanics very well. The only draw back to the book was the way they re-stated rules in other areas of the book. Almost verbatim in some cases. However I come to see that they were doing this so you don't have to flip back to the previous rules but can just look at that section in total. Overall I enjoy the book and can't wait to get this to the table.

Came in quick and in one piece. book itself has so much info for the commonwealth plus if you want to do new vegas or dc the book will help you do that.. very good read and a good sub when dnd burn out..

A Great Start for RPGs in the Wasteland
This uses the Modiphius 2D20 system and seems really easy to get into. Quality art, ALOT of ground covered in the core book, plus has the minis to add to it. I really like this book so far!

This game looks like so much fun
The rules for this game are not super complex and the organization is amazing. Will warn that the pages are flimsy and super thin so be careful.

So happy I purchased this. First of all I love the adaptability of the 2d20 system, and it blends well with the SPECIAL system of Fallout. A number of the options for characters are straight out of the video games, all the way back to Fallout 1. They kept true to the source material and I appreciate that. Overall happy as a rad roach in a barrel or radioactive waste.

A very good Fallout 4 simulator.
If you want the feel of playing Fallout 4 with your friends with an open-ended story, then this is the book for you. The system is less crunchy and more “theater of the mind†than other systems, but that allows for some spontaneous story telling. The book itself is fantastic and very well designed (and heavy). The Fallout 2d20 RPG is a very good Fallout 4 simulator.

A Wasteland of Content
This book is amazing. So much content has been ported over from the video game franchise. You have everything from weapons and armor to magazines and clothing. The system is simplistic yet leaves a lot of options for players and game masters alike. The book is gorgeous with art and slick pages. Well crafted and sturdy binding. If you are a Fallout fan, look no further for an alternative and buy this book. If your looking for a great post apocalyptic game with simple mechanics, buy this book. I honestly can't say enough about this book. Just go out and pick up a copy.

Great Game, took forever to get here
Ordered it back in June for my brother, and it didn't arrive until September (not Miniature Market's fault, Modiphius has always had delays or unclear communication when I've dealt with them). Otherwise, the rules are pretty good, though I would say the art work inside isn't very cohesive, almost all of it is reused concept art from FO4/76

Finally, an accessible Fallout RPG!
As for this Fallout RPG book!? This is amazing and everything I wanted in a Fallout TTRPG. I've seen a GURPS fan-made version before, but the GURPS system can be cumbersome and isn't for everyone. Modiphius' fantastic 2d20 system/mechanics works wonderfully with this setting and I can't wait to start up a homebrew region ASAP!
