All in your Head
The fun starts inside your mind, and the Game invites and is based on that! The narrative aspect of the game is what makes it worth playing. You'll be surprised on how creative yourself actually is!

Excellent Co-op or Solo Sci-Fi skirish campaign
Fantastic campaign system, one of the most comprehensive you'll find. Solid variety and provides an excellent framework for emergent narratives as you naturally fill in the blanks provided by the procedurally generated characters, campaigns, and encounters. Combat is relatively simple, but brutal. The campaign system is really the core of the game. Solid choice for both co-op and solo gaming.

Emergent Narrative
This is a great little book for solo or cooperative play. The charts promise to provide an emergent narrative, my only gripe is using the charts to run a campaign looks a bit intimidating

Thomas Moore
This is a fun, easy to play, miniature agnostic game. It's a good starter game for kids. I've got my nephews a copy and they're all playing it with old heroclix. With the character background, campaign, and character event tables you'll be writing a space opera about your tabletop games in no time. My only complaint is Ivan Sorensen is writing new optional rules at such a pace, that Modiphus will probably make a 3.1 edition in a year and I'll be compelled to buy it.

A lot to work with
Finally a reason to use my warhammer minis, fun, quick missions and campaign system.

Solo Narrative Wargaming done Right
Solo Wargaming? How does that even work? GM-less RPG? How? I thought all of the above, but holy smokes, Five Parsecs from Home has blown me away. I got it as a curiosity, just some fun reading. I quickly realized I actually wanted to try it out, and this is impressive. I've tried Rangers if Shadowdeep and a few other solo games, but none even came close to how awesome Five Parsecs is. I highly recommend this.

The new Five Parsecs book makes playing the greatest narrative wargame more streamlined than ever! Easily combine RPG elements and Skirmish wargame elements into an amazing journey across the galaxy! The layout is beautiful and it also enhances usability making tracking your squad a snap!

Great for when you can't have friends over
Like many of us, I've been missing out on wargames for the past few years. FPFH isn't the most tactical game, but it lets you play when you don't have an opponent. It's fun to imagine backstories for all your characters like they're in a TV show, even if those backstories don't really influence the game.

A Good Read
While I have yet to play a game, the rules set is a good read (I confess to enjoying reading rules sets), and based on my forty years experience as a miniatures player, seems as though it will play well. I'm currently painting up figures for it.

Solo warhaming
The book seems intimidating at first, but once you start to write things down and get your first game going, it will all come together. I’ve played through a handful of missions now and this is a great resource for randomly generating narrative points to help set up what’s going on, why you might be fighting, and what you’re doing in between. I got this to use on its own and in conjunction with stargrave and it’s really easy to take what rules you want and add them to other games.
