Next Level Miniatures: Ankheg
Let me start out by saying that I'm happy with what I got for the price I paid for it. Totally worth it - and got pretty much exactly what I paid for. This is the first time I purchased from the 'Next Level Miniatures' brand (bought a few items) and the level/quality of detail is 'ok' it is not up to par with Reaper Minis - but it's a good 'basic' mini and it will work for my gaming needs. The underside of the body/head are not as detailed as the topsides - but that's more of a nitpick since most people won't be seeing the underside of the figure. Having stated the above, looking at the figure it has more of a 'Bug' from Starship Troopers feel to me than an Ankheg - but this is ok as I can use it as a giant beetle, an Ankheg, or some other creepy crawly dependent upon the game - and you can always use a giant insect in the gameworld. Note - some assembly will be required, most notably the head and the two front legs - but they have slots/tabs for that so they should be able to go in nicely and stay put while drying. Overall I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend purchasing this figure to others.
